Regular visitors to Clicking & Screaming will know that PN Digital is working on a new blogger typology at the moment.
After sending information and a call-to-action out to our contacts via C&S, our personal blogs, Twitter and LinkedIn, we’ve been delighted with the response. Incidentally, if you have five minutes to help us out and haven’t yet done so, you can still complete our survey.
We have, however, discovered one obstacle which requires a different approach: we haven’t hit as many corporate/CEO-type bloggers as we would have liked. Given that the data harvested from the survey are largely based on motivations for and experiences of blogging, it’s clear that we need to cover all the bases in order to keep things as accurate as possible.
It’s all very well having responses from a bunch of PR bloggers, diary bloggers and social media enthusiasts, but they tell us little about how and why the likes of Randy Tinseth and Thomas Mahon (okay, we know about him from Naked Conversations) wound up in the blogosphere.
So it’s time for a new approach in targeting this specific sector (i.e. a more manual approach) which I’m now working on. But if you are or you know a corporate blogger, please do pop along and fill in the survey.

Tm from Kodak here. I just completed your survey. It isn’t exactly geared to a corporate effort but I filled it out in any event. I hope our information helps. -tom
